General
General contains playback, browser, viewing, marker, and drag-and-drop preferences. Start with seek behavior and browser preview behavior, then review the modifier used for markers or range gestures. These settings affect how the interface responds; they do not change a camera original's contents. Test a short clip after changing a playback preference.
Offload
Offload contains safety, naming, cloud logging, staging, and completion preferences. Check the intended destinations and staging location before the next card arrives. A selected staging toggle without an available staging drive is not a functioning destination. Inspect the run's actual verification outcome before releasing a source card.
AI
AI contains Analysis, Engine, Models, and Advanced tuning. Analysis controls automatic text/speech work, reasoning suggestions, confidence visibility, and proposed-range behavior. Engine shows the reasoning chain and routing by task. Models shows installed/downloadable assets and their status. Advanced tuning changes later runs; record the previous settings before changing several controls at once.
Sharing & Privacy
Choose which metadata files to write beside your footage, including .logger.json and optional XMP, CSV, FCPXML or ALE. The JuiceMount sharing setting controls a separate path for supported editorial decisions, face-group names and volume searches. Review both when choosing what to share with a connected server.
Cloud Keys
Configure supported provider credentials here when your account has the required entitlement. Keys are stored in Keychain and the provider bills usage made with them. Select the intended provider/model and test a small run. A localhost model endpoint belongs to the local engine configuration, not a paid cloud provider key.
Account (when sign-in is available)
Account is present in the default current interface. Use it to inspect sign-in, plan, and available account-based features. Rush eligibility depends on server-backed account and credit state; a viewer role cannot spend a team's credits. Resolve sign-in or entitlement errors before queuing a deadline batch.
